Education for Sustainability and Environment for retail - Edu-Sus
Goal
Outgoing from the on-line pool of information "environment info for retail" (http://elearning.zbb.de) developed by zbb, now the existing contents have been developed and adapted by the involved project partners and transferred in theirs own vocational and further education systems of the retail trade. Thus are modern and flexible eLearning modules which anchor the subject Sustainability for retail in Europe.
Main tasks were
- Adaptation and expansion of the scope of the existing project “Handelumweltinfo (environment info for retail)” in consideration of the national specifics and europeen legislation for environment/sustainability with special reference for three retail sectors: products, do-it-yourself and office
- Advancement of the didactic and multimedia draught of "environment info for retail" from a tool of information and knowledge to modern on-line or off-line usable eLearning modules
- Creation of comparably and high-quality educational contents on the subject Sustainability in the retail trade in Europe
- Sensitisation and ability of retail companies for a sustainable management

The CD-ROM "Nachhaltigkeit im europäischen Handel -Sustainability in European Retail" contains in all project partner languages information about sustainability, the European Best Practice Examples, information about the developed eLearning-Modules and the reference guides.
The CD-ROM is available by zbb and can be ordered by mail or fax.
